The neighborhood that was created in the late 1990s and given the name College Park Village got its name from its proximity to Lone Star College and the University Center. Over 2,550 people call College Park, which is comprised of two large neighborhoods known as Harper’s Landing and Windsor Hills, home. There are 935 homes in College Park. In 1995, a deal was reached so that the Harper’s Landing area would continue to be a part of The Woodlands and would not be annexed by the city of Conroe.
It is the one neighborhood in The Woodlands that can be found on the eastern side of Interstate 45.
